What to look for at ICASSP2000:
|
Win a prize of
up to US $1,000 by proving or disproving the following conjecture:
Given a causal all-pass digital signal x(n) of order p, with nonzero
x(0), the location of the peak (maximum amplitude) of x(n) always lies
between n=0 and n=2p-1.
Details on the conjecture and on the rules for submitting solutions
can be found on the IEEE Signal Processing Society web
page.
If the problem is solved before ICASSP, the presentation of the prize
will take place at the ICASSP Opening and Awards Ceremonies on
Tuesday, June 6, 2000.
