Dolmabahce Palace and the

capital of two major long-lasting empires and the only city built in two continents, on

| Port of Entry:
For our participants and guests of
ICASSP2000 from outside Turkey, we highly recommend you fly to the Istanbul
Ataturk International Airport. If your flight heads for other International Airports in
Turkey, such as Ankara, Izmir, Antalya, etc., it will be good idea to have a domestic connecting flight to the
Istanbul Ataturk Airport. Although rental cars are available at any airport in
Turkey, we discourage you to rent a car during the ICASSP2000 because of
the dense traffic and relatively high
costs. The ICASSP2000 Organization Committee is diligently working on the
subject of local transportation. Please check this page for announcements
to make your trip worry-free. |
