 Technical Program

The IEEE International Conference on Acoustics, Speech, and Signal Processing (ICASSP) is the largest and most comprehensive IEEE Conference in the area of signal processing. It encompasses technical presentations, exhibits, tutorials, panels, and social activities. ICASSP is the distinguished annual gathering for the international community of signal processing researchers and practitioners from industry, academia, and government. Our Technical Program incorporates papers on all aspects of signal processing.

We are excited to offer you an excellent Program with Three Plenary Sessions, Seven Special Sessions,  Eight Tutorials, and Eighty Technical Sessions in Twelve different areas in this Silver Anniversary of ICASSP series. You may click "Complete List of Accepted Papers" or the appropriate areas below to view accepted papers.

Schedule of Technical Sessions

On behalf of the IEEE SP Society, more than 200 hundred peer reviewers, and the each and every member of the ICASSP2000 Silver Anniversary Organization Committee,   we would like to thank the authors of more than 900 other excellent works that we could not include in our Final Technical Program. We would like to see their excellent works in future ICASSPs and ICIPs.

Plenary Sessions:
ICASSP2000 will feature three seminal plenary sessions:

Panel Presentation and Discussion:  Signal Processing at the Junction of Two Millennia by Delores M. Etter (Deputy Under Secretary of Defense, USA), Alan V. Oppenheim (Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA), Sadaoki Furui (Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan) and Leonardo Chiariglione (CSELT, Torino, Italy).
